Great news:

Sending e-mail newsletters isn’t time consuming anymore. The days of cumbersome export- and checking tasks are over now. With IT IS mail 2012, a bulk e-mailing is as convenient as it can be. Your e-mails are sent from Dynamics NAV to your contacts directly, just mark and click.

And this is how it works with IT IS mail 2012 and NAV: 

You open a segment in the marketing area of your Dynamics NAV and there you simply click on “IT IS mail / send email”.

Afterwards, you just choose an existing template, like an event- or a product promotion newsletter on display at the setup list. Instead you can create a new one for a further topic, too. Then NAV loads the complete e-mails into your outbox and sends those to your customers automatically.

By the way: You got the possibility to send out customer information at a special date and time also. That means that you can create a series of newsletters in advance and IT IS mail will send the information at the time scheduled.
