Software migration

In an appraisal will be defined, what software versions are available, what hardware upgrades and software licenses are required and what further steps are necessary. 

A backup of all relevant business and user data (exchange mailboxes, active directory structures, databases, documents, and user related data as part of Windows Server updates) is carried out.

If new hardware is purchased, it will be physically integrated into the IT structure (installation in racks, installation of expansion cards or hardware upgrades into existing servers and workstations).

In a further step, new versions of the software will be updated, necessary hardware drivers and software installed and backed business and user data restored.

In case of an operating system migration, active directory structures will be restored and permissions configured and customized. 

Following servers or workstations will be integrated in the IT structure of the company and access authorization for users is set.

Detailed performance tests, security check and arranging access rights are done closing-off.
