Best Fresh Group is a group of 10 suppliers of fresh fruit and vegetables. Each member of the group is an independent company with its own specialization. The added value of the group is in cooperation in the areas of logistics, quality control, marketing and ICT. Regarding ICT, BFG has started up a project with Thysia® Information Management to enable cooperation and sharing of information via a company-wide web solution. The project consists of and internet, extranet and intranet layer. The internet part consist of the replacement of the current websites. The implementation of specific portals for customers and suppliers supports the cooperation with all parties in the logistic chain. Via the employee portal (intranet) the employees of BFG can share news, documents and other information. For both extranet and intranet the integration Microsoft Dynamics® NAV is an essential element of the portal.
